PARABNORMAL NEWS — Ron Patton, longtime executive producer of Ground Zero with Clyde Lews, has passed away.
The Ground Zero family learned the news on Thursday night.
Patton was more than a producer behind the scenes. He helped bring together conversations about some of the most important matters we face. He was a father, son, brother, and friend.
Ron was a dear friend of Into The Parabnormal host Jeremy Scott. They spent many nights together over the years.
"I will be forever grateful to Ron Patton for entrusting me to engineer the show and allowing me the opportunity to carry the torch for a few months hosting the program when Clyde had to leave the airwaves last fall," Scott said.
Jeremy had an opportunity on Wednesday to say his goodbyes to Ron via telephone.
"I wanted him to know how much he meant to me and so many others and that he was loved. To hear his voice one final time, as weak as he was, was an unreal experience."
Producers of the program gathered at the home by evening and Clyde was conferenced in via video. It was their turn to say goodbye to the person who had given each of us so very much.
Ron helped build a family.
"Several of the guests on my program who have become friends were introduced to me and recommended by Ron."
